First, Tell Us How, Please

Intelligent discussions are always welcome in life, as people get to learn something. Unfortunately, not all learning is positive. If the dominant party in a discussion happens to be the one who knowingly or unknowingly projects falsehood and conspiracy theories, he or she could leave the other parties going home with pure rubbish (pardon my language), enabling a situation where people become worse on exit, than they had entered. Some classes of people are very difficult to argue with: those who have no shame, those who want to prove a point, and those who outrightly intend to deceive people.

Some of the people who are difficult to argue with, are those who say there is no God. It doesn’t matter how much you try to convince them by explaining, by opening and reading the Bible to them, or by any other means, they remain adamant. Such people are quick to bring up the big bang theory of the creation of the earth. Well, what existed before the big bang? What was the force behind the big bang, where did it come from, and why? Where is the evidence that the big bang did occur, are there archaeological artefacts to back this up? How did the big bang separate the land from the water? Why do we have day and night, the sun, the moon, the stars, and other things? Did the big bang create them too? Can the protagonists please provide answers to these?

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I have mentioned the eclipse of the sun by the moon many times on this platform. The news media celebrates this occurrence each time it happens. They send journalists to the exact places where it happens, and they give us live coverage of when the sun is completely covered by the moon and the entire environment turns dark, though it was day. The temperature momentarily becomes cooler by some degrees at the moment the eclipse happens. Each year, I hear some so-called experts try to explain this beautiful occurrence as mere coincidence, when they are asked how the moon could eclipse the sun, though the latter is twice as large as the former. Their answer? It just happens. Can any scientist please first tell us how it just happens?

The Bible tells us that each human being is fearfully and wonderfully made. But no, the scientists would try to convince you that you evolved from some apes in the distant past. For me, I always say God forbid. If they evolved from apes, why do we still have apes today? Why did those apes that we continue to see today not evolve? Why is their own different? Why is it that there are 7 billion people on earth, and each person has a unique thumbprint? How can this be? The thumb is a very small part of the body, and there are no duplicates in a population of 7 billion? Does this not support the Bible that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God? Is this not an indication that we are not just statistics, but God crafted each of us and gave each person a unique Id? Can the evolutionists please first, tell us how it happened?

As I mentioned at the beginning, there is probably no point arguing with those who think everything we see and experience is coincidence, but it’s okay to occasionally remind everyone that it doesn’t make sense to see the work of God here on earth and deny it. After He finished creating the heavens and the earth, the Bible says God sat back, reviewed what He had done, and this was His impression, in Genesis chapter 1 verse 31:

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

I believe that it’s based on the above verse, and what he had experienced on his own, that David wrote in Psalm 14 verse 1:

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.

There is no attempt to call anyone a fool here, but we need to ask our scientists and learned colleagues, where is the evidence? Where is the evidence that they evolved from apes? Where is the evidence that the world just happened to explode into existence? How is it possible that everyone has a different thumb print? Why do we have unique DNAs? How can they back up their claims? If they are really sure of their claims, the world needs to see convincing evidence. As of today, I hate to say, we haven’t seen any.

Lord I know that I am a sinner and I am unable to save myself. I am sorry for my sins and I pray that you please forgive me. I am aware that Your Son Jesus died for my sins and I accept Him as my Lord and savior. I surrender my life unto you from this moment. Please take control of my entire being and help me to be obedient to your Word, going forward. Thank you, Lord, for hearing me. I have prayed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
