John 14:1-4

One of the most difficult things to get rid of from humans is the lack of belief in what they cannot see. Until recently, if you told some people that it was possible to travel in a spacecraft and circle the earth several times a day, they’ll say no, not a chance. On September 15, an all-civilian group launched into space and did exactly that. Similarly, for those who don’t know God, their strong conviction is that nothing happens beyond this earth. Once you die, that’s your end. There is no heaven and there is no hell anywhere. This is the reason why some people are so evil, because they do not believe that they will one day give account of what they did here on earth.
Those of us who know God have a different belief. We know that there is a place called heaven and a place called hell. We know that those who don’t know God have no pathway to heaven. For them, there is no hope beyond the grave, because on the other side of the grave is a horrifying discovery that they have been deceived on earth or they have hardened their heart to the truth. At that point, it would be too late to make changes. There is no second chance to come back to earth and accept Christ. There is no saying sorry – that’s the only point where God does not answer prayers.
For God’s children, Jesus Christ made it clear in John 14:1-4, that there is a place where we will go to, where we will no longer be separated from Christ. In verses 1-3, the Bible says:
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
That’s where we are going. There’s a place where we will sorry no more, weep no more and hurt no more. Our God is the everlasting King of this place and we will be His children and the princes and princesses of that place too. According to 1 Corinthians 6:3, we will be judges, including of angels. We are going to a place that is far more exciting than what we have ever known on earth. Those who are bored here on earth can never be bored in heaven. There will always be things to do, and we can never get tired because we will be in a new body at that time. I have good news for those who suffer depression here on earth. In heaven, there is no depression, there is no anxiety either. There is no ADHD!
In the place we are going, there is not a chance that any of the ills we experience here on earth will be present. There is no hating anyone, no cheating anyone, no killing anyone, no jealousy, no backbiting or talking behind anyone – God’s eyes are all over the place and they will catch nothing because we are already transformed, and our hearts have been renewed. It will be such a community of love, kindness, holiness and continuous worship of our God and King. You don’t ever want to miss this! Revelation 22:1-5 gives just a glimpse of what to expect:
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
If you are yet to give your life to Christ, then this place is not for you yet. For you, there is no hope yet. Please don’t joke with this because there will never be anything that is as important. Until you surrender to Christ, the devil will continue to deceive you and tell you that nothing happens beyond death. His main job is to deceive, and you don’t want to be caught in his web. Please surrender your life to Christ today. You will never make a better decision.

PLEASE ACT NOW:
If you are yet to give your life to Christ, you do not have a covenant with God and His promises do not apply to you. To come under these promises, please surrender your life to Christ today, by praying this prayer:
Lord I know that I am a sinner and I am unable to save myself. I am sorry for my sins and I pray that you please forgive me. I am aware that Your Son Jesus died for my sins and I accept Him as my Lord and savior. I surrender my life unto you from this moment. Please take control of my entire being and help me to be obedient to your Word, going forward. Thank you, Lord, for hearing me. I have prayed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you prayed the foregoing prayer, you have just been born again. Please find a Bible believing church in your area and ask to see the pastor. Let him or her know that you have just given your life to Christ and s/he will guide you on next steps in your journey as a child of God. The Lord bless you!
